About & Contact Info for VG

Michelle will work with you to create an outrageous, flamboyant and beautiful gown beyond your wildest dreams. A unique gown for a unique bride. Each bespoke creation is inspired by historical designs from the Regency, Victorian, Edwardian and Burlesque, and sometimes given a modern twist. From a studio in a rural cottage in the Sussex countryside the designer will work closely with you from inception through to creation. Using her extensive library of historical designs and patterns and with 15 years’ experience as company director and designer, Michelle Artemis uses techniques little used and no longer taught and she is certainly the leading expert in her field. She uses her quirky eye for fashion to bring together the wonderful tradition of outrageous costumes, little seen today, with the modern and the dramatic. Finished with couture detailing, her gowns truly “knock ‘em dead.”
